The Optima* MR450w MR System delivers better imaging along increased patient comfort. It is wide-bore done right.
CT Scan Technology
Hyper Care Regional Medical Cente recently acquired a 64-slice LightSpeed® VCT (volume computed tomo-graphy) system from GE Healthcare. The VCT is now the hospital's sole CT system, handling both inpatient and outpatient imaging. "It was selected because it aligned with the top priorities of the imaging department", explains Jason Stringfield, manager of diagnostic imaging. "First and foremost, we strive to make HCRMC the healthcare choice in the community we serve."
We provide state-of-the-art services so patients don't have to travel far for care. Our new VCT allows us to deliver remarkable care to the community because of the quality images and the diagnostic tools it provides for physicians. For the patients, ease of use, low dose of radium, along with the quality technology, make this a simple choice to use our facility. Patients with multiple traumatic injuries can be evaluated more quickly and with more confidence using the VCT.
In addition to the CT, imaging technologies at HCRMC include:
- State-of-the-art digital and computed radiography
- Nuclear medicine
- Digital mammography
- Ultrasound
- Bone mineral densitometry
- MRI
